Review: B1A4's Baby I'm Sorry

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z37WOB7cf44
B1A4, surprisingly rising as a group. B1A4 debuted in 2011 in April with O.K. and came back with Beautiful Target, following up with My Love. Now they're back again to promote Baby I'm Sorry form their first formal album IGNITION. This group consists of 5 members, Jinyoung who is known for being their Leader, Lead Vocalist, and Lyricist. CNU who is known for bring a Lead Vocalist, and Lead Rapper. Sandeul who is their Main Vocalist. Baro who is known for being a Main Rapper, and Lyricist. And finally Gongchan who is known for being Vocalist, Visual, and their Maknae.
B1A4 has been known in the past for being a more flower boy group, but through this video it shows that the boys have charisma, and ready to take anything. With this video taking place in the same place BEAST filmed Shock the boys showed a more manly side of them.
The video opens out with the ecstatic beat of the song that BANA's have been waiting for, to reveal a quick glance of all the members and their visual change. Jinyoung with red hair, CNU looking more fancy, Sandeul looks the same really, Baro having a really cool haircut, and Gongchan going blonde. To formally start off the video Baro opens up with his rap to transition to Jinyoung and the rest of the members. Now there isn't really a storyline to the song but it does represent the members being with a girl. Obviously the same girl, because of Korea's law of 1 girl in a music video.
The one thing I don't approve of in this video is the use of Auto tune. Sandeul, Jinyoung, and Gongchan have beautiful voices, and no one wants to hear auto tune no matter how catchy it is. One week earlier, B1A4 had released a track titled Time Is Over, with their vocals and instrumental preparing everyone for the return of B1A4. But everyone was really expecting more vocals.
A lot of fans have been expecting more dancing more B1A4 rather than individual whimsy choreography. Although the video consists of fist pumping and background dancers, B1A4 has been trying to show a bit more choreography. Even though it's nothing compared to Infinite, 2PM, or Beast, it's still something. Whether or not B1A4 is a group lacking in dance, I do not know that.
In my mind I really enjoyed the video, but its all on your perspective. Now everyone enjoy the video and go out and buy their 1st Formal Album "IGNITION" because I guaranty that you would like it. I know I do, but maybe that's me being biased.
